Answers to the questions buyers and suppliers ask most often.
For buyers
Do I need an account to send an inquiry?
No. Every product page has an inquiry form that accepts submissions from visitors. You provide your name, company, email address and message, and enter a short verification code to confirm you are not an automated script. That is all. There is no registration step and no approval process. If you want to keep a history of the suppliers you contacted, you can register later — it is optional.
How quickly will a supplier reply?
Inquiries go directly to the manufacturer, not through us, so response time depends on the company. If a supplier does not reply within a few days, tell us through Contact Us and we will follow up on your behalf.
Are prices shown on the site final?
Prices on listings are indicative and usually refer to a specific configuration, quantity or specification. Confirm the exact specification, quantity and shipping terms with the manufacturer before treating a price as final.
How do I know a supplier is really a manufacturer?
Manufacturer status is a condition of listing on this platform, and trading companies are declined at registration. You can additionally ask a supplier for its business licence and production address, or ask us to verify it — licence, production site, equipment and export history — before you commit to an order.
Can you contact suppliers for me?
Yes. We can approach manufacturers on your behalf, translate technical requirements, gather quotations, and return them as one comparison. See For Buyers for the full scope of buyer services.
Can you inspect goods before they ship?
Yes. Pre-shipment inspection covers quantity, workmanship, packaging and conformity to the agreed specification, with a report sent back to you. Scope and cost are agreed per order, because inspection depth varies by product and by what you need verified.
Who handles payment and shipping?
Payment terms, contracts and freight are arranged directly between you and the manufacturer. We do not hold buyer funds and we are not a party to the sales contract. For inspection and procurement support, we can act on your side of the transaction.
What if the product I received does not match the sample?
Raise it with the manufacturer first — that is where the contract sits. If a pre-shipment inspection was carried out through us, we will provide the inspection record to support your claim. Inspection before shipment is the practical way to avoid this situation.
For suppliers
Who can register as a supplier?
Manufacturers operating in China. Trading companies, sourcing agents and export intermediaries are declined. Verification requires the registered company name, the production address, and evidence that the listed products are manufactured by the company.
Does my company get its own page?
Yes. Every member company receives a page on its own subdomain, in the form yourcompany.gongwong.com, with company introduction, product catalogue and contact details. It is indexed independently by search engines.
Why is my listing not appearing in searches?
The most common reasons are incomplete specification attributes, missing product images, or a listing that has not completed the verification step. Fill in the attribute fields fully — buyers filter on them, and a product missing those fields will not match their search.
Can I list products I do not manufacture?
No. The platform is restricted to manufacturers. Listing goods produced by another company is grounds for removal.
