All gas purity, composition and so on must in compliance with the requirement of the Praxair Surface Technology. Check the sand for coarsening processing, ensure not contain water, oil or any other impurities, replace the broken particles; confirm the work-piece cleaning method and material covered the un-spraying area effective and reliable.2) TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENTBefore the formal spraying, sample testing should be done, until real the coating performance requirement.s3) FOREIGN SPARES INSPECTION3.1 According to the technological requirements, check the parts size and confirm whether it cooperate with spraying auxiliary equipment.3.2 Check the spraying area parts size and record before spraying.3.3 Visual inspect the parts surface, to see if it has bruising, scratches, pits or defects and so on, if there has, stop the spraying process.4) PARTS CLEANING4.1 Choose the appropriate method (such as organic solution cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning) to remove the impurities and parabens on work-piece surface.4.2 Use clear compressed air to blow (after oil-water separator treatment) the parts left on the surface.4.3 Ensure the work-piece surface has been completely cleaned, if necessary, repeat cleaning process.5) UNCOATING AREA PROTECTION5.1 Reconfirm if parts surface has been cleaned, if there is pollution or secondary pollution, repeat the cleaning steps. Parts surface cleaning is important.5.2 Use jig or high temperature resistant cover material to protect the coating area.5.3If need to trim the protecting area, must ensure this procedure will not do harm to the parts.5.4 Confirm the accuracy of protected areas accurate and reliable. Unreasonable spray or shelter to the work-piece may cause irreversible damage.5.5The protecting area should has no oil and other sundry, can not touch parts with bare hand.6) GRIT BLASTING6.1Confirm the sand size, if necessary, change on time. Visual inspect whether the sand is clean.6.2 Grit blasting parameter as following:GRIT BLASTING EQUIPMENTASTMANUAL SAND BLOWING MACHINESand type20mu white corundum sandSand blowing methodManualPressure0.14to 0.2MpaSand blowing gun nozzle diameter10.0+1.0mmSand blowing distance90to 110mmSand blowing gun nozzle materialTungsten carbideSand blowing angle60°to 80°Sand blowing time of partsUniform surface coarsening6.3TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTDuring the process of blowing sand, the nozzle should evenly sweep the parts.In the process of blowing sand, rotating the parts evenly, do now allow the parts miss of injection of over injection which cause pits.Keep the parts avoid of any surface damage.Must wear gloves after handling the blowing sand, do no touch parts by bare hand.7) COATING7.1Before spraying, check whether the blowing sand has been uniform, check whether the cover is safe and reliable.7.2Start the spraying control system, open the spraying auxiliary equipment; open the fan, dust removal, cold water machine; supply cooling air; open the oxygen valve.7.3 According to the need, activate the manipulator axis, determine the zero point, the starting point, set a good manipulator walk path. Then walk the manipulator and turntable without fire the gun.7.4 Start JP8000spraying system, and set a good spraying parameters.7.5Preheating: Short fire preheating, preheat temperature does not exceed 80°C.7.6During the spraying process, cooling the work-piece surface by filtered compressed air.7.7In order to prevent the work-piece surface temperature exceed 150ºC, spraying gun should stop after two rounds of procedure. Operate the manipulator program without fire the gun, supply cooling gas, until the temperature down to 100°, then continue to spray coating till reach the required thickness.7.8Measure three different coating thickness in three different positions on parts.8) CLEANING8.1 Take out parts from the clamp, remove the protecting tape and fixture, must wear clean gloves.8.2 Remove any residual covered tape, if there is a flash coating, do polishing.8.3 Ensure there is no coating except the coating area.8.4 Double check the parts and ensure it to be clean, no dust, and no any residue of tape and sundries.8.5Put the parts in designated places.9)FINAL INSPECTION9.1 Visual inspection9.1.1 Spray according to the regulations of the artwork spefication, visual check coating should be completely covered.9.1.2 Visual the coating on the surface should be no crack, bubble, peeling, fall off, layered impellers and external insert and inclusions.9.1.3 Ensure there is no coating except the coating area.9.1.4 Visual inspect the parts and ensure it is clean, no cover material pollution, and coating should have no aberrations.
