RT-TBB (Z) type high-voltage var compensator is mainly used for 35kV busbar in substations
or large industrial users. It is used to improve system power factor, stabilize bus voltage and improve power supply
quality. The device mainly controls the switching of the parallel capacitors (groups) with microcomputer technology
according to the system voltage, reactive power, power factor and other parameters, and thus realizes reactive
power compensation. The device is mainly composed of an isolating switch, a high-voltage vacuum contactor
(high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker), a high-voltage shunt capacitor, a high-voltage series reactor, a discharge
coil, and a lightning arrester, etc., and has two types,i.e. indoor cabinet type and outdoor frame type.

Unit structure, each set has a control protection unit, inlet cabinet unit and high-voltage switching capacitor
unit determined according to the number of different groups. It is convenient to connect and maintain between units.
Complete sets of equipment are equipped with observation window, live display, running indicator, etc. on each
unit, and electromagnetic locks are installed on each inlet unit operating mechanism and each unit to meet the
requirements of the five defenses, for the convenience of users to observe and ensure the safe operation of the equipment.
